At the same time, Prime Minister Netanyahu met with US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who updated him on the efforts that he is advancing in the US Congress against the ICC and countries that have cooperated with it.

Baltimore, MD - Nov. 27, 2024 - Inflation rose in October, with the Federal Reserve's preferred gauge showing a 2.3% increase from a year earlier, up from 2.1% in September. Core inflation, which excludes food and energy, also edged higher to 2.8% from 2.7%. These figures highlight a stall in the inflation decline seen since its mid-2022 peak of 7%.
Price pressures persist in services such as rent, dining, and insurance, despite broader improvements. Meanwhile, consumer spending and incomes grew robustly in October, with incomes rising 0.6% and spending increasing by 0.4%, supporting continued economic growth.
The inflation uptick and resilient economic activity may prompt the Federal Reserve to slow its pace of interest rate cuts. Economists expect a quarter-point rate cut in...

Hamas on Wednesday said it is ready for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip after the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, which came into effect on Wednesday morning.
"We are committed to cooperating with any effort to reach a ceasefire in Gaza, and we are interested in ending the aggression against our people," the terror group said in a statement.
"We have informed mediators in Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey that Hamas is ready for a ceasefire agreement and a serious deal to exchange prisoners," a Hamas official told AFP.
The official, however, reportedly accused Israel of obstructing an agreement.
Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters that Hamas has shown "flexibility" in reaching a ceasefire and blamed the failure to reach a deal on Israel.

The Israeli Cabinet this evening (Tuesday) approved the ceasefire deal brokered by the US in Lebanon.
The ceasefire agreement will go into effect at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning (Wednesday).
This evening, Netanyahu addressed the nation about the ceasefire. "I promised victory and we will achieve victory. We will complete the elimination of Hamas, the return of all our hostages and the return of the residents of the north," he said.
"We have destroyed significant parts of Iran's air defense and a significant component of its nuclear program," he added.
Netanyahu stated, "This evening, I will bring before the Cabinet a ceasefire plan. How long it will be depends on what will happen in Lebanon."
"If Hezbollah doesn't follow the agreement, we'll attack," he said. "If it'...

A ceasefire in Lebanon will be announced at 10 p.m. by the United States and France, according to Lebanese channel Al Jadeed.
Presidents Biden and Macron will announce the deal during the night, with the alleged agreement set to take effect at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
This comes after several days of strained last-minute negotiation, in which Israel pushed for the removal of France as guarantor of the security situation in Lebanon, citing current diplomatic tensions between France and Israel.
The deal must still pass through the war cabinet, which is expected to meet at 6 p.m. to approve the agreement in Lebanon. Netanyahu is also expected to run the ceasefire passed by the heads of the local authorities in the North.
If the cabinet approves the ceasefire agreement, i...

The Medrash Tanchuma in Toldos 8 says that when Eisav came home from the fields he would ask questions of his father to make him seem steeped in learning. An example of the type of questions he asked is the following: what is the halacha regarding taking maaser from salt? Yitzchok would wonder at the baal medakdek his son had become. When Yitzchok would ask him, “Where were you today?” Eisav would respond, “In Bais Hatalmud.” He would start talking in halacha and thereby fool his father. Everyone was aware that when Eisav and Yaakov became adults Eisav went to the house of Avoda Zora and Yaakov went to the Bais Medrash. The question is why didn’t Yaakov tell his father th...
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will be forced to open its books and reveal its sources of funding after a defamation suit it filed against a former employee completely backfired.
US Magistrate Judge David Schultz ruled Monday that CAIR’s donors, funding sources — potentially including foreign ones — and any assets owned by the group are all within the “scope of permissible discovery” as part of former chapter leader Lori Saroya’s lawsuit against the controversial Muslim rights group.
Saroya filed a federal defamation complaint against CAIR in January after the group dropped its own lawsuit against the former employee, which accused her of embarking on a “defamation campaign” against the orga...
