On the Gaza Border, Jan 2024:

From Arky:
13 years ago, my brother Avi and I were both serving in the IDF. We saw each other once during our service. Today, we are together in miluim (reserves) doing different jobs, but in the same area. We were raised to take care of our people when they are in need, and it is a value we both strongly hold on to. So while neither of us are forced to serve, we both made it a priority to step up in any way we can. Proud of our upbringing, proud of our nation.
Their parents Jeremy & Chana Staiman said:
"Like the rest of our people, we still have not come to grips with what has — and still is — happening. The fact that our boys are willing and anxious to go out and serve our people fills us with an unimaginable sense of pride. But it’s more than that. One of our fathers was a survivor of Auschwitz. One of our fathers served in the US Army in WWII. To know that their grandchildren are willing to put their lives on the line to protect Am Yisrael, and become an indispensable link in the story of our nation, just brings home the full emotional impact of what the family of Klal Yisrael is experiencing."
