Two Charedi yeshiva bochrim, who were assaulted in Jerusalem's Old City by a Palestinian Arab a year ago, have filed a civil lawsuit demanding 100,000 ILS in compensation, reports Arutz-7. The Arab attacker was convicted of the assault, sentenced to six months in jail, and ordered to pay 1,000 ILS. The incident occurred on August 19, 2022, when the bochrim were approached and violently attacked with kicks, punches, and a wooden pallet by the accused and his accomplices. The attack was racially motivated. Attorney Chaim Bleicher from the Honenu legal aid organization emphasized that such antisemitic acts should have serious repercussions, vowing to uphold the dignity and safety of Jews in Israel.
