A former Baltimore Police Commissioner shares strong words about Baltimore’s crime problem following the death of a 23-year-old T-Mobile worker, who was shot during an armed robbery at the Canton retail store Sunday.
“When you have innocent people being murdered in midday in your business districts, you have a tremendous problem on your hands,” former BPD Commissioner Ed Norris told FOX45 News.
Norris’ comments point to crime happening across Baltimore City – sparing no zip code or time of day.
“There is violence everywhere and it used to be there were certain neighborhoods where not to go -- like you wouldn’t be on Greenmount Avenue at 2:30 in the morning,” Norris said. “But now its extended throughout the City. There’s no boundaries, no time of day, it doesn’t matter if it’s the afternoon. It doesn’t matter where you are, you could be the victim of a horrible violent crime.”... Read More: FOX45
