'I knew Netanyahu for a long time... He is a man who doesn't believe in peace'

In an interview aired on Sunday, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said he will have to deal with Israel’s incoming prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, despite there being no prospects for peace.

"I knew Netanyahu for a long time, since the 1990s... He is a man who doesn't believe in peace. But I have no other choice but to deal with him," Abbas told Palestine Television.

"To the extent there will be any dialogue between Netanyahu and Abbas, it will be focused on the day-to-day affairs of managing the occupation," he told i24NEWS.... Read More: i24
