Jerusalem, Israel - Oct. 23, 2022 - Sunday at the Vert Hotel in Jerusalem, Israel, Israel National News-Arutz Sheva and Besheva, the weekly Hebrew language newspaper distributed free on Thursdays in religious population centers, sponsored an economic conference.
The advertised program published in Besheva changed from week to week, as did the actual lineup on Sunday.
Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu was moved in the schedule from the concluding speaker at 6:00 pm to the 11:00 am midday featured speaker. Entering surrounded by security the former Prime Minister spoke for 15 minutes not only on the economy but on his intention of leading a government based on Jewish tradition.
The full-day program had One & One interviews, such as the morning one with Minister of Building and Construction Zeev Elkin with Asaf Mishnayot. Interviews with Ayelet Shaked and Itamar Ben Gvir were among the politicians speaking. However, leaders from Health Insurance and Housing Authorities and banking were on the program as well.
As with many of these all-day conferences, the meetings in the halls and lobbies could be as important as the information shared on the stage. The security measures to enter the downstairs ballroom were relaxed after Netanyahu left the hotel. The Israeli President and Prime Minister were not included in the program.
