Baltimore, MD – Mar. 14, 2022 – Baltimore’s newest shul, Ohel Torah began its first annual Melava Malka with co-founder Saeed Haken thanking Hashem for his help in starting a Shul in the South Stevenson area which is within the Eruv. He also thanked Rabbi Mordechai Bamberger, Director of the Baltimore Community Kollel, for lending Sifrei Torah, Aron, Bimah and Siddurim to the Shul to facilitate starting the Minyan.

He ended by thanking the family hosting the shul, because if not for them the shul would not have started. 

Dr Chaim Nachman introduced the guest speaker, Rabbi Shmuel Silber, mara d’asra of Suburban Orthodox Congregation Toras Chaim, who spoke on the importance of having a Shul in this location to make it easier for the members to come daven, learn Torah and create a united Torah family.

Meir Goetz, cofounder, closed out the beautiful evening by thanking the organizer of the event and all the members for attending. Lastly, he expressed the need for building a Makom Torah in the South Stevenson community.
