The delay gives State Prosecutors time to respond to reports of police using spyware to hack witnesses' phones

Judges in former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption trial canceled a court hearing on Monday that was scheduled for the next day. 

This gives Israel's State Prosecutor time to respond to allegations of police using spyware to hack into the phones of crucial witnesses.

The State Prosecutor's Office has until 2 P.M. on Tuesday to submit its response, after which the judges will convene and discuss how to proceed, Haaretz reported.... Read More: i24
