The coronavirus cabinet decided on Tuesday evening to limit the Green Pass to large events such as weddings and parties, as researchers from the Hebrew University stated that Israel seems to have passed the peak of the Omicron wave.

Starting on Sunday, the Green Pass will only be needed at large events, with a list of specific examples of large events to be published later on. The Green Pass will also be updated to include those who have been vaccinated with two doses within the past four months, patients who have recovered in the past four months and anyone who has received the third or fourth dose of the vaccine without any time limit.

In a report presented to the coronavirus cabinet, Hebrew University researchers stated that while it seems that Israel has passed the peak of infections and that infection rates and the rate of serious cases should drop in the coming weeks.

Starting on Tuesday, the PCR testing sites run by the Home Front Command will only be available to those 30 and older and high-risk groups.... Read More: JPost
