Baltimore City Police Commissioner Michael Harrison is responding to the recent crime in the city and what the department is doing to stop it.

Although he said he knows it doesn't seem as if things are changing, Harrison told C4 and Bryan Nehman that police are aggressively going after violent offenders as the number of homicides in Baltimore City climbs in the first month of the year. 

Harrison also responded to the recent murder of La Scala Ristorante Italiano general manager Chesley Patterson).

Nino Germano, who owns La Scala,  said Patterson was a staple in Little Italy and that his death is a reminder the violence must stop. Germano said criminals run free and someone needs to step up.... Read More: WBAL
