Unfortunately, Jerusalem real estate is expensive, and many overseas buyers have sticker shock when they hear housing prices for the first time. What options exist for people looking to purchase an apartment and stay within their budget?
On Sunday evening, December 19th, at 8:00 pm, the My Israel Home (MIH) team, led by Gedaliah Borvick, will run a presentation in Suburban Orthodox Congregation Toras Chaim that addresses this important question, and will discuss the following three options.
One creative idea for people who have timing flexibility is to purchase a Jerusalem apartment in a building that is slated to be razed and rebuilt in an urban renewal project. This is an excellent opportunity that both users and investors have recently started focusing on, due to the government’s new laws that will help reduce the lengthy bureaucratic process.
Another concept is buying in “not yet discovered” neighborhoods in Jerusalem. The MIH team has been involved in a number of highly successful pre-sales campaigns, and has a strong track record in finding the “next hot location” – and getting their clients in before prices take off. They will discuss a project whose tag line is “the best kept secret in Jerusalem.” The project’s neighborhood is expected to become a “destination location” very soon, as several properties in this beautiful setting are slated to be redeveloped as upscale buildings.
The third approach is buying “on paper” in a new Ramat Beit Shemesh community. Beit Shemesh is the fastest growing city in Israel, and RBS is in major expansion mode. Many Anglos with tighter budgets have moved to RBS – as prices are significantly lower than Jerusalem – and have been thrilled with its central location, easy access to Jerusalem, and large nucleus of English speakers. One particular project has caught the MIH team’s eye, due to the developer’s strong reputation and the project’s high level of technical specifications that are higher than any other project in RBS.
The My Israel Home team, joined by an exceptional panel of real estate professionals, will focus on these three concepts at Suburban Orthodox on Sunday evening, December 19th at 8:00 pm. In addition, they will be available to set up private meeting.
My Israel Home will also run this program in Silver Spring on Monday, December 20th at 8:00 pm at Young Israel Shomrai Emunah of Greater Washington.
