Former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family have completed their departure from the Prime Minister’s Residence in Jerusalem, vacating the house on Balfour Street after 12 years.

A spokesperson for the Netanyahu family confirmed the move early Sunday morning, saying they left the residence shortly after midnight — slightly after the agreed-upon deadline.

Moving trucks were seen at the residence earlier this week. On Friday, Channel 12 reported that several vehicles were seen departing the residence — apparently cars belonging to Netanyahu’s motorcade as opposition leader.
