Health Ministry proposes limited reopening for students of 1-4, 11-12 grades

Students at Israeli schools will not return to class until at least Thursday as the country's coronavirus cabinet postponed the reopening of the educational system once again.

During a meeting late on Monday, the reopening was pushed off until February 11 as pandemic figures in the country remained relatively high.

Under a plan proposed by the Health Ministry, schools could reopen for those in pre-school education, kindergarteners, and students of 1-4 and 11-12 grades. 

Different sets of rules will apply to students in "yellow" and "green" and "orange" and "red" areas. Read more at i24
