Arabic media report dozens injured in attack attributed to the US
At least nine people were killed and dozens more injured early Tuesday in the town of Jufr al-Nasr, some 40 miles southwest of Baghdad, Iraq, in alleged airstrikes in the area.
Early Arabic reports suggested that the air raid was carried out by the United States, but US Central Command spokesman Capt. Bill Urban said that "Explosions reported earlier today... were not the result of US military action."
