The Defense Ministry unit responsible for authorizing construction of settlements in the West Bank is expected to meet within the next two weeks to move construction projects forward.

The civil administration planning subcommittee could meet as early as Thursday, according to Kan, which did not specify how many housing units are likely to be approved.
