With 22,173 tests conducted over the past 24 hours, the positive test ratio stood at three percent after staying around the two percent mark for several days in a row.

The death toll in the country rose to 2,569, adding 16 new fatalities to the figure reported Sunday evening.

The latest update puts the number of active infections in the country at 9,797, including 689 Israelis who are currently in hospitals. Read more at i24
