Police issue vague statement lambasting ultra-Orthodox community without explicit denial
Israel Police has reached secret understandings with several ultra-Orthodox communities in Jerusalem to uphold congregations over the course of Sukkot holiday provided their documentation is not published, outlet Haaretz reported Tuesday.

Following the report, Israel Police released a statement which did not clarify if such an agreement has been made.
“Israel Police, together with all Israeli citizens, is leading the fight to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, which is known to cause many casualties,” the police spokesperson said in a statement. Read more at i24
