Cumulative total of confirmed cases exceeds 105,000, with 120 patients in need of artificial lung ventilation

Israel registered 1,888 new COVID-19 coronavirus infections on Monday, the country's Health Ministry reported on Tuesday.

With over 28,600 tests conducted yesterday, the positive test ratio stood at 6.6 percent.

With 21,368 active cases in the country, 877 patients are in hospitals, including 120 in need of artificial lung ventilation. Some 434 patients are said to be in a serious state.

Israel's death toll rose to 856, in an increase of 12 fatalities against the figures reported Monday evening. Read more at i24
