Kremlin reportedly interested in drawing interest from countries over advanced aircraft
Russia is slated to deliver advanced Mikoyan MiG-35 fighter jets to Khmeimim Air Base, a key Russian base in Syria, Hebrew-language outlet Mako reported Monday.
According to the report, the delivery is part of a marketing campaign to sell the aircraft to foreign states, such as Peru, Malaysia and Syria, which have expressed interest in procuring the new fighter jets.
Egypt has already struck a deal with the Kremlin, adding the MiG-35 to its airforce ranks, Mako reported. Read more at i24
