NIR ETZION (VINnews) — At the Nir Etzion hotel where coronavirus patients from Bnei Brak and other Chareidi locations are recovering from the virus, officials associated with the Taharas Hamishpacha organization inaugurated a kosher mikve today, after special authorization was received from the health ministry to build a mikve and it was made in accordance with strict halachic specifications.

The hotel has made extensive efforts over the last month to provide coronavirus patients with the best communal and Torah requirements as well as providing the highest possible level of service in order to allow as many as possible Chareidi patients to leave their homes and prevent further infection from spreading in Chareidi communities around Israel.

The demand for a mikve came from people staying at the hotel who contacted Bnei Brak mayor Rabbi Avraham Rubinstein, who offered to help expedite the matter. After a number of requests the health ministry authorization was granted and the Taharas Hamishpacha organization prepared the mikve for use by all different communities.

In a complex logistic operation a truck loaded with snow from the peak of Mount Hermon arrived at the hotel after Shabbos and was placed in the pit of the mikve to enable it to be used immediately.
