TIBERIAS (VINnews) — Coronavirus patients in Israel are either transferred to hospital (if they require treatment), left at home (if they have a place to stay in isolation) or if they are fortunate, transferred to designated hotels where they can be together in relative isolation. However the Chareidi patients at the Lavi hotel near Tiberias were bored and requested sefarim which would enable them to learn. Bnei Brak deputy mayor Menachem Shapira and the Degel Hatorah chairman in Tiberias provided the necessary books and the only yeshiva open in Israel was established at the hotel.

There are many fathers and sons who were infected so it was only natural that there should be an Avod UBanim session at the hotel as well.
