MOSCOW - Freed American-Israeli Naama Issachar is returning to Israel after ten months in a Russian prison.
Issachar met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after being released from prison on Thursday morning and is joining the prime minister, his wife, and her mother Yaffa to fly back to Israel.
"We're excited to see you," said Netanyahu in a meeting with Naama, Yaffa and Sara Netanyahu. "Now we're going home.""In connection with presidential decree No. 67, of January 29, 2020, on pardoning Naama Issachar, she was released from the correctional institution of the penitentiary system," the FSIN press service told Russian news outlet TASS.
