Chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu party Avigdor Leiberman said on Monday that Israel will not head into a fourth consecutive election and that the upcoming elections in March will be “conclusive.”

“There won’t be additional elections, [the next one] will be conclusive,” Leiberman stated at a conference hosted by the Hebrew-language Yedioth Aharonoth daily in Jerusalem.

Discussing the failure of the previous coalition to form a government, Leiberman said “We wanted to form a unity government [which] regretfully because of an argument on who would be first and who would be second in the [premier] rotation, the two largest parties dragged the country into another election.”
