MDA Operates 169 stations throughout Israel.

The organization deploys more than 1,200 vehicles- 77 of which 4x4, 10 Dune Tractors (MULES), 6 jeepbulanc and 44 armored ambulances.

MDA emergency vehicles were launched 1,318,893 times - every 24 seconds an MDA emergency vehicle is launched.  

During 2019 MDA teams provided medical treatment and evacuated 44,256 injured from vehicle accidents.

During the bathing season, MDA EMTs and Paramedics provided medical treatment to 228 adults and children who drowned.

MDA teams perform an Average of 19 resuscitations per day.

A total of 750,454 Patients and casualties were transferred to hospitals.

15,091 pregnant women were evacuated to hospital, 1,098 babies were delivered with the help of MDA teams at home or on the way to hospital.

In 2020, MDA will celebrate its 90th anniversary.

MDA activates 30,000 employees, national service volunteers and volunteers, 10,000 Youth volunteers.

MDA activates 17,500 Life Guardians.

Volunteers invest over 1.5 million hours of service per year.

The oldest volunteer is 87 years old & the youngest is 15.

180,000 People underwent CPR and first aid courses.

8,800 courses were taught over the year.

789 MDA Youth volunteers were trained to manage an MCI - Multi Casualty Incident.

515 youth volunteers were trained as instructors.

261,675 Blood Units were donated to MDA Blood Service’s phlebotomists.

30% of donors are women.

20% are first time donors.

26.5% were donated at IDF bases.

The MDA Blood Bank Services have 42 Blood Mobiles.

All blood donations are examined to determine blood type and identify infectious diseases in blood service labs and provided to all hospitals and the IDF. 

173 wishes were fulfilled thanks to the MDA Wish Ambulance.

The helicopters’ teams treated and evacuated 352 patients and injured to hospitals.

MDA activates 1 national and 3 regional command and control vehicles.

MDA teams partook in 196 live action drills.

2,100,000 emergency calls were received at MDA 101 dispatch center.

An emergency call at MDA's 101 Emergency Dispatch Center is received every 14 seconds.
