Baltimore, MD - Oct. 10, 2019 - If you have the need for a Succah at GBMC you're in luck thanks to Bikur Cholim of Baltimore who has, for the very first time, built a Succah on the premises.
The Sukkah is nestled on the grassy knoll between the Lilly and Tulip Garages accessible from the Hospital main floor and the Emergency Department. [From main entrance/pantry follow signs to Emergency dept. from there to Lilly/Tulip Garage.]
This Sukkah joins others that have been built at other local Baltimore Hospitals, including Johns Hopkins, Sinai Hospital and University of Maryland.
Rabbi Pinchos Rabinowitz, Executive Director of Bikur Cholim of Baltimore, would like to extend a thank you to Dr. Dov Frankel for arranging this bold initiative with the GBMC Hospital administration. A special thank you goes to Chaplain Joseph Hart, Director of Spiritual Services at GBMC, who is always available to help.
Bikur Cholim wishes the community a happy, healthy Yom Tov.
