Rishon Lezion, Israel - Apr. 7, 2019 - A 70-year-old pedestrian was killed after an accident occurred on David Saharov Street in Rishon Lezion.
United Hatzalah volunteer Menachem Amsili who was one of the first responders at the scene said: "I received the emergency alert from United Hatzalah's Dispatch and Command Center and rushed out of work to the scene of the accident. I arrived at the scene in a matter of seconds and began performing CPR on the injured woman. I was joined by other volunteers from United Hatzalah and we continued CPR until a mobile intensive care ambulance arrived. Unfortunately, at the end of our efforts, and with great sadness, paramedics at the scene were forced to pronounce the woman's death due to the severity of the injuries that she suffered."
