Jerusalem, Israel - Apr. 17, 2019 - On  April 17, יב ניסן  the Jerusalem Press Club organized a pre-Peasch tour led by Tzippy Diskind Yarom , the science and technology journalist of Mishpacha Magazine. Walking the old Jerusalem streets filled with people shopping, the approaching holiday was evident. The cool weather was perfect to store cases of fruits and vegetables outside of apartment windows. Signs on the synagogues warned not to bring in chametz. Washed items were hanging and blowing in the wind, on outside clothes lines to dry. Fresh garlic was piled high on the street and in the Machane Yehudah Market. Potatoes and table coverings were featured items.  Huge vats of boiling water were on the sidewalks in multiple locations.

A visit inside the Miller home on Rashi Street, which was already prepared for Pesach, found the kitchen lined with foil and plenty of eggs in the sparkling clean refrigerator. A portrait of HaRav Elazar Menachem Man Shach z"l had a prominent place on the wall. Rav Miller shared with his visitors a photo showing his former seat in the Ponevezh Yeshiva where he learned years ago. Naomi Miller, mother of 12 and a doula who has assisted in 500 births, graciously answered questions about Pesach and haredi life to international journalists. Rav Elazar Miller showed their special kos Eliahu, a large silver piece presented to his late father in England by the women's group of Etz Chaim.

After lunch at Shtisel Cafe, Yarom Diskind shared a short message for BJL.
