An Israeli magistrate court extended the detention of a minor suspected of the murder of a Palestinian woman, in a Jewish terror case that has caused widespread protests by right-wing settlers.

The Rishon LeZion Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday ruled to extend the detention of the teenage, who has only been publicly identified as “Z”, at the request of Israeli security services.

The State Prosecutor’s office said the Jewish teenager is poised to be charged with serious security offences, including manslaughter over the October murder of Aisha Mohammed Rabi, a Palestinian mother of eight.
