Baltimore, MD - June 5, 2023 - Gas prices in Baltimore have fallen by 7.6 cents per gallon over the past week, with an average of $3.40 per gallon, according to FOX45. This is slightly higher than a month ago but still significantly lower than the same period last year. The national average price for diesel has also dropped slightly. Despite these declines, experts warn that a recent agreement by OPEC+ to reduce oil production may cause a temporary increase in oil and gas prices. This comes as global oil supplies remain tight and demand is weaker than expected. However, the impact on average gas prices is expected to be minimal and short-lived. The lowest and highest gas prices in the state were reported at $3.14 and $3.99 per gallon, respectively.
