The Leisure and Hospitality sector led the way with 4,500 new jobs, while the Professional and Business Services sector suffered losses. Preliminary data had suggested that Maryland had lost 200 jobs in December 2022, but this has since been revised to a gain of 4,100 jobs, leading to a drop in the unemployment rate.
