You may not be thinking of winter and snow quite yet, as some parts of the country are experiencing the hottest weather of the year right now. However, if you'd like to take a look at the weather possibilities, the Farmers' Almanac has released is extended 2022-23 winter forecast.

In Maryland, it is expected to be "unreasonably cold" and "snowy," especially in January, according to the Farmers' Almanac forecast.

"The first bite of winter should come earlier than last year's. December 2022 looks stormy and cold nationwide with an active storm pattern developing and hanging around for most of the season over the eastern half of the country," The Farmers' Almanac wrote.

The Farmers' Almanac said temperatures could reach a record-breaking 40 degrees Fahrenheit below zero in some areas of the country, especially the North Central United States. But even Gulf states are expected to be chilly, wet and slushy.... Read More: Pikesville Patch
