Baltimore, MD - Nov. 21, 2018 - In honor of his outstanding leadership in the Jewish community, Isaac Pretter  received The Julius Rosenberg Memorial Award from The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. The Julius Rosenberg Memorial Award, presented annually, recognizes a young person who shows outstanding personal contribution and commitment to the highest ideals of Jewish community building.

As an Associated lay leader for nine years, Pretter has been a consummate ambassador, fundraiser and friendraiser for the community and the organization.  From participating in The Associated's Young Leadership Council (YLC) to engaging the Orthodox community in the work of The Associated, to soliciting for the annual campaign, to serving on the board of CJE, on the Real Estate Industry Group (REIG) Committee, Associated Jewish Charities' (AJC) Real Estate Committee, and to serving on JFNA's National Young Leadership Cabinet, Pretter certainly leads by example and his quiet leadership is a model for others.

Outside of his work with The Associated, Pretter is a Founding Principal of Mosaic Realty Partners where he focuses on direct investment in commercial real estate in the Mid-Atlantic. Prior to forming Mosaic, Pretter acquired office and retail assets in the Baltimore metro area and developed residential townhouses. He previously served as Senior Loan Associate with iStar Financial, where he was responsible for originating and underwriting complex loans and investments for real estate projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Pretter holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Talmudic Law from Ner Israel College. He is married with five children and lives in Northwest Baltimore.

A former campaign director at The Associated, Julius Rosenberg was a role model and mentor who inspired colleagues and volunteers alike to take an active role in The Associated’s Annual Campaign. The award is made possible by Rosenberg’s family and friends. As a recipient of this distinguished award, Pretter has demonstrated his ability to lead effectively and make lasting contributions to The Associated’s Annual Campaign. He will have the opportunity to travel to Israel in the next three years.
