Baltimore, MD – Aug. 17, 2018 - Mesivta Kesser Torah is pleased to announce that Rabbi Dovid Rubin has joined it’s Limudei Kodesh staff this year as the 10th grade Rebbe for the Mesivta's newly added grade. (Last year, the founding 9th grade made siyumim on masechtos Rosh HaShanah and Kiddushin and heard divrei chizuk from Rabbi Yaakov Hopfer, rav, Shearith Israel Congregation, with more than 100 people in attendance at the siyum.)

Rabbi Rubin was learning in the Kollel in Bais Medrash Elyon Monsey, New York and is a talmid of the Mesivta of Long Beach and Yeshivas Kodshim in Eretz Yisroel (lead by Harav Tzvi Kaplan, Shlita).

This is a very special class of motivated Talmidim and Rabbi Rubin’s depth in learning, as well as his dynamic style of teaching, will inspire the bochurim to greater heights in their learning.

Rabbi Rubin’s visit and model lesson demonstrated that he understands how important it is to relate to each bochur and his ability to be perceptive towards their personality.

Rabbi Rubin brings with him four years of classroom experience as a Rebbe in Mesivta of Long Beach Summer program (Camp Horim). Mrs. Rubin is a daughter of Rabbi Moshe Baruch Newman, a well-known and beloved Rebbe in Mesivta Staten Island, New York. Rabbi & Mrs. Rubin and their children have already integrated into the warm Baltimore community.

Rabbi Avraham Feldheim, Menahel, says "We are very excited to be able to hire a Rebbe of this caliber and are confident that he will raise the Mesivta to the next level."

First night of Father/Son at Kesser Torah started with an enormous turnout with the addition of the new 10th grade Rebbi.
