Jerusalem, Israel - Sept. 7, 2023  - In a sting operation orchestrated by the Shalem police station in Jerusalem, border police officers dressed in Charedi attire used a civilian passenger vehicle to apprehend Arab individuals who had been throwing stones in the Issawiya neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem, according to Arutz-7. After being attacked with stones, the undercover and uniformed officers pursued the individuals on foot, eventually arresting two young residents aged 14 and 16. The operation was a part of a proactive strategy to address the increasing incidents of stone-throwing which pose significant danger to road users. The arrested individuals are being questioned at the Shalem station, with authorities emphasizing their commitment to employing creative tactics to curb stone-throwing attacks on civilians.
