Baltimore, MD - Sept. 11, 2015 - With the start of school last week, several new components to the operation of Maryland's mass transit school bus service were implemented. The MTA bus line, with its state subsidized student fare, is the largest transporter of Jewish day school children in Baltimore. The expansion will allow for an additional bus to be added to the fleet to serve Talmudical Academy's elementary school, and Sunday bus service will now be available for Torah Institute on both its elementary and middle school routes. One additional component to be added now is the availability of prepaid bus tickets for use by the students on the route. This addition will prove vital to the convenience and practical nature of the bus service.

Agudath Israel's Rabbi Ariel Sadwin commented, "we are very grateful to the officials at the Maryland Transit Authority and the Maryland Department of Transportation for their willingness to work with us to expand the service and allow dozens more families to make use of this great resource."
