The Israel-Hamas war was the subject of the first major campaign speech for U.S. Senate candidate and former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan.

Hogan appeared before the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington in Potomac. He talked about his past record defending Israel and condemning anti-Semitism, saying “the challenges that we confront today are far greater than we’ve faced over the past decade.”

Hogan also talked about the response to the Oct. 7 attack and the Israel-Hamas war, saying the only way to achieve a cease-fire is for Hamas leaders “to immediately release every single one of those hostages” and to “bring them home.”

“The way to solve this humanitarian crisis and achieve a cease-fire is for Hamas leaders to immediately release every single one of those hostages,” Hogan said. “Then, they should surrender and be held accountable.”... Read More: WBAL
