A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for multiple jurisdictions Sunday night, including Baltimore County.

The National Weather Service issued the warning after 5:30 p.m. when radar detected severe thunderstorms on a line from Richardsmere to Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Officials said the storms were moving east at 25 mph and had 60 mph wind gusts.

Before 6 p.m., forecasters said severe thunderstorms with 60 mph wind gusts were on a line from Farmington to Pasadene and were moving east at 25 mph.

Wind may cause trees and large branches to fall, injuring people outside and damaging homes and vehicles. Roads could become blocked by fallen trees, and power outages are possible.... Read More: Pikesville Patch
