Baltimore, MD - Dec. 4, 2015 - This past Wednesday evening, 140 fathers of Bnos Yisroel students joined for an evening of connection and support. While enjoying elaborate barbeque fare, fathers enjoyed mingling, meeting fellow parents and networking.

The evening opened with remarks from Mr. Jason Reitberger, President of Bnos Yisorel’s Board of Directors, and father of a Bnos Yisroel student and two alumnae. He shared that at Bnos Yisroel, the parent body is the greatest ambassadors for the school. He also reflected the pride that Bnos Yisroel has that their alumnae are now working in our community and school, giving back in the most effective way.

Mr. Dovi Ziffer, Annual Campaign Chair, and father of a Bnos Yisroel student spoke about the Annual Campaign and the incredible advances made in curriculum development, school infrastructure and tuition scholarships made possible thanks to the generosity of our donors from 2014-2015. These accomplishments include Bnos Yisroel's partnership with Code in the Schools to introduce students to computer related skills such as coding and app-development,  partnership with Towson University and development of mobile labs, new Chromebooks for students to enhance blended-learning classroom opportunities, the brand new state-of-the art playground, and the full-time security guard.

Even after the event ended, many fathers lingered, enjoying the good company and camaraderie.
