Defense Minister Yoav Gallant arrived today (Wednesday) for a visit with Unit 9900 of the Intelligence Corps, which gathers visual intelligence, and mentioned Israel's plans to retaliate for Iran's massive ballistic missile attack last week.
He received an overview of the unit's activities for the preparation of the latest strikes in Lebanon, and commented on the level of preparedness for the expected attacks in the various theaters of the ongoing war.
Gallant told the members of Unit 9900: "I have a lot of appreciation for what the unit and the entire formation are doing, which is very, very impressive. In fact, thanks to you, we see the entire Middle East - Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq and everywhere else, we see very precisely and clearly, very focused wherever we want."
"You saw the attacks that the Iranians launched against us a short time ago, these attacks were aggressive, but these attacks failed because they were not precise attacks. The Air Force was not harmed, all the routes are functioning, continuity is maintained, not a single plane was harmed, not a single soldier was harmed, not a single civilian was hurt," he said....
