About the Position

Job Summary: The AP/AR Administrative Assistant will be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, as well as day to day tasks within the financial department. In addition, you will work with all levels of staff assisting them to complete tasks that are administrative in nature. This is an entry-level position which will include hands-on training by our billing administrator. The position presents opportunities for advancement in a fast-growing company.

• Accounting:
o Accounts Payable
o Accounts Receivable
• General office administration:
o Logging new bids from contractors into our system
o Downloading bid documents and creating folders for potential projects
o Preliminary review of the details of these projects
o Reception duties (answering calls, greeting clients)
o Scanning and filing
• Other administrative duties as assigned

• Billing/accounting experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic and drive to learn
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Proactive workstyle; ability to take initiative and assume responsibility
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Computer proficiency including Excel and Word
• Ability to interact with co-workers, external contacts, and customers in a pleasant, professional, and effective manner both verbally and in email communications
• Ability to multi-task and quickly adjust priorities
