About the Position

Seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Licensure Specialist role. The Licensure Specialist’s job is to assist therapists with obtaining cross licensure through knowledge of the licensure process and state guidelines. Licensure Specialist is responsible to research licensure requirements and provide therapists with clear and thorough resources, support therapists with application submission, and communicate with state boards to expedite the process. This position requires effective communication via phone and email with therapists and collaboration with internal staff for optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, innovative, and detail oriented with experience communicating with clients in a professional environment. This position may be completed remotely or in our Pikesville office. If working remotely, the work environment must be quiet and professional.

Job Description:
Research licensure application process and requirements for all disciplines and compile clear and thorough resources.
Provide therapists with updated licensure resources to initiate the cross licensure process.
Develop additional supports that can be provided to therapists to increase ease with the cross licensure process.
Support therapists with the application process, provide assistance, and follow up to encourage follow through.
Contact state boards on behalf of the therapist to expedite processing timelines through effective communication.
Utilize online database to track relevant data and updates.
Communicate with internal team and management regarding the status of a therapist’s application, timelines, and relevant updates.

Job Requirements:

Ability to connect with people and build relationships.
Enthusiastic, strong work ethic, and responsible.
Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detailed oriented
Innovative and able to problem solve.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs/Google Drive

Education/Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a professional work environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resource Management or related field preferred.
Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.
