Front Office Administrator

Local certified public accounting firm is looking for a Front Office Administrator.

About the Position

The candidate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides general support to visitors
• Receives and routes client correspondence via telephone, email, paper mail
• Responsible for general office operations and procedures- including maintain supply inventory and filing system (electronic and paper)
• Pays firm bills, as requested
• Prepares and files quarterly, year-end payroll reports and 1099s
• Serves as liaison for firm vendors and tech support
• Processes tax returns and other government tax filings to be distributed to clients in a timely manner
• Maintains databases to ensure filing deadlines are met consistently
• Handles office mailings
• Works closely with partners and other staff members to ensure that tasks handled timely, efficiently and effectively

Successful candidates will have experience in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks. They should be able to work independently and problem-solve effectively. This administrator must be well organized, flexible and enjoy administrative challenges.

The candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:
• Previous professional office experience
• Friendly, professional, hardworking manner
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and ability to pick up new software quickly
• Ability to multitask, organize and shift priorities
