About the Position

The Recruiter is responsible for overseeing the process of identification, down-selection, hiring and onboarding of therapists. This position requires regular direct interaction with candidates, hiring managers, and other departments within the company. The Recruiter is also responsible for administrative coordination, reporting, tracking, and communication via email, phone calls, and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) tool. This role reports to the recruitment manager.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with departmental staff and attend meetings as necessary to maintain knowledge about the department’s business objectives, goals and operations.
Schedule and conduct phone or online meetings with candidates.
Ensure proper reference and background checks.
Provide regular follow-up communication to the respective hiring managers and candidates, ensuring timeliness of recruiting and onboarding process.
Generate offers and notify applicants of consideration or rejection.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment laws and maintaining confidentiality as required.
Become educated on what credentials are necessary for each position and communicate it clearly to the candidates.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of recruiting experience desired.
Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and team-based project experience.
Strong customer service management skills related to recruitment activities.
Ability to build relationships with candidates, referrals, professional organizations and be well versed and comfortable with phone and online meetings.
Ability to work professionally and effectively with diverse populations and personalities;
Must have the ability to discuss offers and demonstrate excellent acumen to identify and convert the best talent;
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines;
Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member;
Ability to handle information of a confidential nature and ensure that such information is secured and maintained in an appropriate manner;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus
Minimum 35 hours per week
Compensation commensurate with experience
