Chiropractic Front Office

Hours: (28-32 hrs/wk) Monday & Wednesday 9:45-6:00, Tuesday & Thursday 1:45-6:00, Friday 9:45-2:00

Job Summary

You must be extremely outgoing, friendly, and caring. Have an upbeat, positive attitude and be able to communicate well with patients.

Job Responsibilities

Answer phones in a professional, friendly manner.
Schedules patient appointments and manages office schedule to keep patients on time.
Verify patients insurance and explains benefits to the patient.
Collect patient payments/co-pays on each visit and reschedule patients.
Phone call and e-mail appointment reminders to patients daily.
Scan paperwork into computer.
Send monthly birthday cards to patients.
Monthly billing statements.
Keep office clean and presentable – vacuum, dust, sanitize treatment room, clean bathroom, take out trash.
Keep track of office supplies and re-order as necessary.
Submit insurance pre-authorizations.
Make regular posts to social media (Facebook)

Vital Contributions

Ensure that all patients are greeted warmly and feel cared for.
Reinforce the practice’s professional image and patient-focused atmosphere.
Provide support to the doctor to free him up to care for patients.

Required Skills, Education, and Certifications

Proficient using Windows computers, Microsoft Office, web browsers, and e-mail applications
Familiarity with essential office machines: printer, fax, copier, scanner, credit card terminal.
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
Prior receptionist/customer service and insurance experience preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities REQUIRED

Effective communicator and excellent telephone manner.
Outgoing and friendly personality.
Comfortable talking with people and asking for payments.
Motivated individual that looks for ways to help and keep busy.

Wage is negotiable.
