Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Sunday morning spoke about the barbaric slaughter in the Friday night terror attack in Yishuv N’vei Tzuf.

Speaking to Ynet, the senior cabinet minister said in this case, an IDF court should use the death sentence against the terrorist who was taken into custody.

Lieberman was asked what punishment he feels should be used. He stated that the terrorist’s home must be razed for starters. He feels that over the years, clearly this has proven to be the most effective deterrent. In addition, he envisions canceling any and all benefits for the family, including entry to Jerusalem and crossing the Green Line into “Israel proper”.

He explains he has supported the death penalty for terrorists in the past and feels this would be appropriate in this case. In fact, he backed a bill regarding the death penalty but it was toppled in Knesset.

Regarding PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), Lieberman repeats that Abu Mazen is not and has not been a partner to Israel and does not yearn for peace, but continues incitement against Israel.
