Jerusalem, Israel - Sept. 20, 2016 - Governor Larry Hogan spent his first night in Israel together with former Knesset member Rabbi Dov Lipman, a Maryland native, as part of the governor's trade mission to Israel. The two discussed Israel-Maryland relations, Israel-US relations, and Israel and Maryland politics.  The governor remarked that the two have something in common with the rarities of an American being elected to Knesset and a Republican being elected to governor or Maryland.  Lipman plans to continue his relationship and connection with the Maryland Israel Development Center to help make sure that the remarkable agreements being signed during this visit continue to yield fruit and strengthen the relationship between Israel and Maryland.
