Six Israeli soldiers, two of them officers, were wounded in a Palestinian car-ramming attack in the West Bank on Friday early afternoon, the second one of the day, according to Israeli news sources.

The site of the attack was Beit Ummar, near Hebron.

The terrorist was neutralized.

According to Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived at the scene — where Palestinian protesters purportedly were throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at medical teams and security forces — three of the wounded were in moderate condition.

Earlier, two IDF soldiers were moderately wounded in a Palestinian car-ramming attack in Kfar Adumim. The terrorist was shot and killed by security forces.

According to Israeli Channel 2, the soldiers — one from the United States and the other from Germany — had immigrated to Israel to join the army as part of the Tzofim-Garin Tzabar program. They were inducted into the IDF this week.

The news site also reported that the terrorist killed was the brother of a Palestinian assailant who committed a stabbing attack at the beginning of the week at the same spot. He was also killed by security forces.
