Jerusalem - Israeli police are reporting new unrest at Jerusalem’s most sensitive holy site.

Police say riot control forces clashed with young Palestinian protesters early Sunday at the hilltop compound in Jerusalem’s old city. Police said the masked protesters threw rocks and firecrackers but added that the incident was under control.

The site, known as the Har HaBayis to Jews and the Noble Sanctuary to Muslims, had experienced several days of unrest in recent weeks.
