150 companies around the world doing businesses with settlements received warming letters from the UN Human Rights Commissioner that if they continue, they would find themselves on the black list of companies dealing with settlements “in the West Bank and East Jerusalem”.

According to the Haaretz report quoting an Israeli official in the know, they firms are informed that they are doing business in “occupied Palestinian territories”, and this is a violation of “internal law and UN decisions”. The report adds that about 30 companies are American and others hail from nations including Germany, S. Korea and Norway and they are informed if they continue dealing with the settlement-based companies, they will be added to the blacklist.
