Senator John McCain was greeted with applause when he entered the Senate chamber today to cast one of the final votes to approve the procedural motions for the new health care bill. McCain took a trip back home to Arizona recently, so that he could focus on his battle with brain cancer. McCain flew back to Washington D.C. to vote for a repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and he cast the vote that tied the motion at 50-50. The motion cleared the Senate after Vice President Mike Pence cast a tiebreaker vote while he presided over the floor.
